Piano Sheet Music Stand Height on Grand Pianos is Very Different Compared to Upright Pianos

Limitations
May not work with Spinets
This product may not work with spinet pianos. Spinets are the shortest type of upright piano and when you raise the height of the music stand, there may not be enough of the remaining surface portion to rest your music against. However, it is possible to experiment by placing a thin sheet of foamcore or masonite or plexiglass against the existing stand to increase the vertical surface area. If so, you may need to also use a couple of heavy-duty rubber-coated spring clips to hold this panel in place. If you are not willing to try this suggestion, please refrain from purchasing this Upright Piano Sheet Music Stand Raiser product as you may be disappointed.
Some pianos may need slight adjustment to prevent a gap
When you place books on the raiser on some pianos, there may be a gap behind the raiser. If this is the case, just stick a couple of erasers on the front edge of the Upright Piano Sheet Music Stand Raiser and that will adjust the angle and close the gap.

Questions
Can you use this sheet music stand raiser with a digital keyboard?
No. The vertical clearance is even less on a digital keyboard than a spinet piano! Instead what is recommended that you get a professional heavy-duty orchestral music stand and raise it up 10″ above keyboard level, and place it immediately behind the keyboard. Remove the plastic “stand” that comes with your keyboard.
